QUESTION
What is the best color CopyDoodle to use for maximum response?
ANSWER
Personally I use RED CopyDoodles in most of my own marketing.  Red is a strong, action color and regardless of where you live, the color RED is typically used to grab attention.

However in your individual case, another color might be more appropriate.  The one thing I would caution is using too many colors within your document.  I recommend no more than three colors at most (black, color 2 and color 3).

QUESTION
Can you share one technique for using CopyDoodles most effectively?
ANSWER
If I were to share only one technique regarding the best way to use CopyDoodles, it would for you to remember what CopyDoodles represent.

CopyDoodles simulate a note or doodle that you added at the last second to gain the attention of your reader.  Therefore I like using CopyDoodles sparingly and in those areas where I want to draw the reader's eye.

I am also not a big fan of mixing up colors.  Would somebody really draw a note with a red pen and then put that down and pick up a blue pen?  Possibly...

I like keep my use of CopyDoodles as personal and real as possible.  So I use them only when needed and I typically use just one color.  Mainly because that's how I would do it in "real life."

QUESTION
If I want to use layers in FrontPage much like you show with Dreamweaver, how do I make the background of a layer in FrontPage transparent. Can't seem to find a way to do it.
ANSWER

Unfortunately FrontPage does not allow you to layer CopyDoodles ON TOP of existing HTML pages. It is a shortcoming in FrontPage (I know because I use FrontPage from time to time).  However you can position them next to, underneath, above, etc. using tables.  Check out the CopyDoodlesTV episodes on this.

Other, newer, programs allow for "z-level" positioninng of CopyDoodles.

ANSWER

Good question.

My testing and results show that it best to use the handwritten font as an enhancement versus the main font style.

I like to use handwriting for testimonials and copy that, when handwritten, gives a proper context.

One thing I stress when I speak is that using CopyDoodles/UltimateResponseBoosters should be like using a spice when cooking.  Too much overpowers your copy.  Too little doesn't do much and when its just right, you'll know it.

QUESTION
I use Infusion. Generally, I don't have a problem using Copydoodles with Infusion except for one thing. ANSWER

This question is really less about Infusion and more about using CopyDoodles in HTML.   CopyDoodles are in essence digital photos and positioning digital photos/images in HTML is a tricky subject.  Putting them over, under or next to things is easy, but putting them on top of something is more difficult.

The easiest way to do this is to use a graphics editor (like Paint or Photoshop, etc.) and create a new graphic that is a merged graphic of both the CopyDoodle and the text you are looking to circle.  So you end up with a final "flat" graphic that is a combination of the doodle and the text.
